Two people suffered minor injuries Wednesday morning in a crash involving a San Diego police cruiser in the Egger Highlands area.
SAN DIEGO — Two people suffered minor injuries Wednesday morning in a crash involving a San Diego police cruiser in the Egger Highlands area.
The crash happened around 3:20 a.m. near the intersection of Palm and Thermal avenues, San Diego police Officer Tony Martinez said.
The circumstances leading up to the crash were under investigation, but Martinez confirmed that a marked SDPD patrol car was involved in the collision.

Two people were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, NBC7 reported.
The officer involved in the crash was uninjured, Martinez said.
