2 Men In Golden Hill Park Wounded In Shooting
Two of the men in the park were shot in the legs and went to a hospital.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Two men sitting at a Golden Hill park with a group of men were shot and wounded in a gunfight, the San Diego Police Department said Thursday.
The shootout happened at 8:33 p.m. Wednesday in the 2600 block of Russ Boulevard when a white sedan pulled up near the north curb line and fired multiple rounds at a group of men sitting on a park bench, SDPD Officer John Buttle said. Two or three of the men in the park returned fire.
About 20 casings of three different calibers were located, the officer said.
