2 Stabbed In Fight In San Diego

Two men were stabbed and one suspect was in custody after a street fight in the Rolando neighborhood, police said.

SAN DIEGO — Two men were stabbed and one suspect was in custody after a street fight Sunday in the Rolando neighborhood, police said.

At about 5 a.m., a group became involved in a brawl near University Avenue, Officer S. Foster of the San Diego Police Department said.

Five men and a woman were in the street when three men came up and confronted the group and allegedly attacked two men in the group. The fight moved from the street to an alley.

Two victims were stabbed in the torso and arms, Foster said. The wounds were non-life threatening and the two victims were taken to a hospital.

Police took one of the alleged attackers into custody and the other two fled the scene.
