2 Westbound I-8 Lanes Closed For Caltrans Roadway Repairs
Two westbound lanes are blocked off for emergency repair work on Interstate 8 between El Cajon Boulevard and Main Street in El Cajon.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Caltrans blocked off two westbound Interstate 8 lanes for emergency repair work between El Cajon Boulevard and Main Street in El Cajon Wednesday afternoon.
The Main Street on-ramp to the westbound side of the freeway also is shut down, the agency advises.
The closures, which began at approximately noon Wednesday were expected to remain in effect into the evening hours, officials reported.
