3 Arrested For Auto Theft After Police Chase In San Diego's Old Town
Three men were arrested after a police chase from Morena Boulevard to Old Town.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Three men were arrested Thursday after a police chase from Morena Boulevard to Old Town.
Just after midnight Thursday, police tried to pull over a vehicle that ran a stop sign and had a brake light out, said Officer David O'Brien of the San Diego Police Department.
The driver refused to pull over and sped away toward Old Town, the officer said. Police gave chase and the vehicle crashed at 4200 Taylor St. where three people got out of the vehicle and tried to run away.
All three men were captured and arrested on suspicion of various crimes, including auto theft and resisting arrest, O'Brien said. The driver was also held on suspicion of outstanding warrants.

Police learned after the chase the vehicle was stolen.
