3 Men Shot At Shelter Island Beach
The men were taken to a hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening, police said.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Three people were shot on Shelter Island in the harbor area, police said Sunday.
The shooting was reported at about 9 p.m. Saturday at 2000 Shelter Island Drive, according to Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.
Heims said there was an argument between a group of people at a firepit on the beach and two people in the argument pulled out guns and started to shoot at each other. Three men -- ages 24, 23 and 22 -- were wounded.

Detectives from the SDPD's Western Division were investigating.
