5 San Diego-Area Restaurants Rank Among Top 100 Brunch Spots

SAN DIEGO, CA — Still searching for a special place to celebrate mom?

Just in time for Mother's Day, OpenTable has released its 2026 list of the top 100 brunch restaurants in the country. Five eateries in San Diego County made the rankings.

Restaurants in the San Diego area include:

• Cesarina. 4161 Voltaire St., Suite B, San Diego. This restaurant boasts Michelin Bib Gourmand status and serves Italian food.
• InsideOUT. 1642 University Ave., Suite 100, San Diego. This LGBTQ-owned restaurant offers California and Mediterranean-inspired fare.
• Mister A's. 2550 Fifth Ave., Suite 406, San Diego. This restaurant serves contemporary French-American cuisine and offers one of Wine Spectator's top-rated wine lists in the country.
• The Henry. 1031 Orange Ave., Coronado. This restaurant's menu features modern American food.
• The Pony Room. 5921 Valencia Circle, Rancho Santa Fe. This restaurant at Rancho Valencia serves American-style comfort classics.

OpenTable's list is based on more than 10 million diner reviews collected between March 1, 2025, and Feb. 28, 2026.

Restaurants with a minimum threshold of diner reviews were considered, according to the online reservation service and management platform. The eateries were evaluated by a compilation of data points, including overall diner ratings, percentage of five-star reviews, the number of alerts set, the percentage of reservations made in advance, percentage of capacity, and direct searches.
