JAMUL, CA — Nine U.S. Navy sailors were among 10 arrested this week in connection with a violent 2025 assault at a Jamul house party, authorities said.

Deputies, with assistance from the U.S Naval Criminal Investigative Service, coordinated a joint operation on Tuesday, when all 10 suspects were arrested on suspicion of several felony charges related to the assault and weapons possession.

Deputies originally responded May 3, 2025, to a reported assault in the 14000 block of Proctor Valley Road, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office. While deputies were en route, dispatchers received information that the suspects were armed and that one of the assault victims had gone to a nearby fire station for help.
