The "Divergent" actor was arrested for allegedly being drunk and disorderly in public while out with friends in Pacific Beach.

SAN DIEGO, CA – Actor Miles Teller was arrested for allegedly being drunk and disorderly in public while out with friends in Pacific Beach, officials said Monday.

Officers approached Teller shortly before 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the 4300 block of Mission Boulevard after noticing that he appeared intoxicated, according to San Diego police.

The 30-year-old actor, who is known for his role in the "Divergent" series, was slurring his words and swaying as he stood on the roadside, SDPD officer Billy Hernandez said. At one point, Teller lost his balance and nearly fell into the street, Hernandez said.
