SAN DIEGO, CA — The 2026 San Diego County Fair will offer $5 admission on Opening Day, fair officials announced Monday.
The deal is available June 10 for fairgoers entering the fairgrounds between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. After 5 p.m., regular Wednesday admission prices will apply.
The discounted tickets are available online at sdfair.com.
Children 5 and younger will continue to receive free admission throughout the fair's 20-day run, while parking will be sold separately.
Admission to the fair includes access to animals, exhibits and displays, demonstrations, live entertainment, sponsor activations and shopping halls.
Opening Day festivities will also include ceremonies, unlimited rides with Pepsi Pay-One-Price wristbands through 8 p.m., the Charity Fair Horse Show, and a 9 p.m. concert by Blue Öyster Cult as part of the Chevrolet Paddock Concert Series.
Fair officials said the special is part of broader efforts to expand savings opportunities for guests. Other promotions this year include season passes, $15 value meal deals, "Foodie Friday" discounts, family packs, military and first-responder discounts through GovX, combined train-and-admission "Fair Tripper" tickets, and early-bird pricing on admission, parking, rides and games.
