SAN DIEGO, CA — Firefighters were battling a cross-border brush fire Tuesday near Dulzura in San Diego County.
The blaze, dubbed the Border 6 Fire, the Border 6 Fire, has burned 100 acres on the northern side of the U.S.-Mexico border and more than 400 acres in Mexico, according to Cal Fire.
The blaze sparked shortly before 2 p.m. Monday, fire officials said. As of 1:23 p.m. Tuesday, the fire was 10% contained.
No structures were threatened, the agency said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
