A judge has ruled that the city of San Diego illegally collected millions of dollars in parking violation late fees and penalties over the course of about three years (blogspot.com) — A judge has ruled that the City of San Diego improperly added late fees to parking tickets between February 2022 and March 2025, leaving the city owing more than $16 million. The class-action case centers on whether required notice rules were followed, and the city is disputing the allegations.
