4 Juvenile Suspects Sought After Youth Wounded In San Diego Shooting

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Police were searching for four juvenile suspects after a juvenile was shot and wounded in San Diego.

Officers responded at 2:13 p.m. Monday to the 4200 block of Genesee Avenue in the Clairemont Mesa West neighborhood, where four unidentified juveniles fired several shots at another juvenile, according to the San Diego Police Department. The suspects fled southbound on Genesee Avenue in a dark gray Lexus LS 460.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police said the injury was not life-threatening.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday morning. Detectives with the department's Northern Division were investigating.
