Over 900 Items Left Behind At San Diego County Fair

DEL MAR, CA — More than 900 items were turned in to Lost & Found during the 2026 San Diego County Fair.

Fair officials said 111 credit cards, 108 articles of clothing, 99 cell phones, 95 pairs of glasses, 74 wallets and purses, 54 sets of keys, 38 pieces of jewelry, and 22 water bottles were among the most commonly misplaced items during the 20-day event.

Less common finds included three strollers, two pillows, two canes, one walker and one hubcap, according to the 22nd District Agricultural Association, which produces the annual fair.

Guests who believe they lost an item at the fair can contact Guest Services at 858-794-1124 during business hours to schedule a pickup.

Any unclaimed property will be donated in September, according to fair officials.
