ESCONDIDO, CA — A motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash on an Escondido roadway, authorities said Monday.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 11:48 p.m. Sunday and occurred at 1206 San Pasqual Valley Road (78).
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene and the San Diego County Medical Examiner's office was summoned, the CHP said.
An investigation was underway to determine the circumstances of the crash.
