SAN DIEGO, CA — SeaWorld San Diego will host a FIFA World Cup final watch party Sunday featuring live game viewing alongside the park's orcas at Orca Stadium.
The Coca-Cola FIFA World Cup Watch Party with the Whales will include soccer-themed activities, photo opportunities and limited-edition event giveaways.
The park hosted its first watch party Tuesday, where fans watched the tournament with views of orcas swimming in front of the screen.
"Watch Party with the Whales was incredible — truly a once-in-a-lifetime way to watch," SeaWorld San Diego Vice President of Marketing and Sales Jackie Plaza told Patch. "It's heartwarming to see the excitement from all walks of life, including our marine life, coming together to celebrate the world's best."
Plaza said the park hopes to bring the same energy to Sunday's final match.
The event will include a Coca-Cola activation area with soccer games and other activities. Limited-release event premiums will be available while supplies last.
The watch party will begin at noon, with activations starting at 10 a.m.
The event is included with park admission.
