SAN DIEGO, CA — Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter will host a Day of Service celebration Sept. 4 featuring live music, a silent auction, tropical cocktails and fundraising efforts benefiting the San Diego Music Foundation.
The free event will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. at the hotel's 5 o'Clock Somewhere Rooftop Bar and will include a performance by Buffett Beach Band, which takes the stage at 6 p.m.
Guests can participate in interactive activities, including photo booths and a blender bike competition, while portions of silent auction proceeds and rooftop food and beverage sales will benefit the San Diego Music Foundation.
The event is part of Margaritaville's annual Day of Service held on Jimmy Buffett Day, an initiative across the company's hotels, restaurants, resorts and other properties to support community organizations.
The San Diego Music Foundation works to support local musicians through youth music education, professional development, live performances and recognition of artists who contribute to the region's music scene.
The celebration will continue through Labor Day weekend with live performances, pop-up experiences and a special souvenir cup promotion.
