2 Men Shot After Leaving North Park Bar

SAN DIEGO, CA — Two men were shot early Thursday after leaving a bar in San Diego, and the gunman remained at large, authorities said.

The men were walking south near the 3900 block on 30th Street in North Park when a man approached them from behind and fired a handgun around 2 a.m., according to the San Diego Police Department.

The 42-year-old victim was shot in the left foot and taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. The 33-year-old victim suffered a graze wound to his hand but declined medical treatment.

Police described the shooter as a Hispanic man in his 20s wearing a black hat, black shirt and black jeans. He fled on foot.

There was no verbal exchange or physical fight before the shooting, police said. Neither victim knew the suspect.
