Argument Ends In Deadly Shooting At San Diego Home: Police

Police said the 28-year-old victim was shot following an argument with one or more acquaintances.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A man was fatally shot inside his San Diego home late Wednesday following an argument with one or more acquaintances, authorities said.

Police responded around 11 p.m. to a report of a shooting at a home in the 3900 block of Gamma Street in the Southcrest neighborhood, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Officers and paramedics provided aid to the 28-year-old man before he was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries, according to police. His name was not immediately released.

No suspect descriptions were released.

Homicide detectives were processing the scene, interviewing witnesses and searching for surveillance video as the investigation continued Thursday.
