SAN DIEGO, CA — Children ages 11 and younger can visit the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park for free throughout October as the attractions bring back their seasonal fall festivals.
The Kids Free offer provides free admission for children 11 and younger with a paid adult ticket. Families can also take part in HalGLOWeen at the San Diego Zoo and the Autumn Festival at the Safari Park.
HalGLOWeen will be held Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout October, with activities beginning at 5 p.m. The Halloween celebration features acrobatic spider performers, the new Professor Glowington's Fab Lab and opportunities to encounter wildlife.
The San Diego Zoo, at 2920 Zoo Drive in Balboa Park, will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on HalGLOWeen dates.
The Autumn Festival will take place on select Saturdays and Sundays in October at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Activities include scarecrow encounters, live music and the A-MAZE-ing Autumn Adventure.
The Safari Park, at 15500 San Pasqual Valley Road in Escondido, will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Autumn Festival dates.
The Kids Free promotion runs throughout October.
