The jobs are among more than 34,000 seasonal, part-time and full-time positions available across California and 300,000 nationwide, the company announced Tuesday.
Seasonal positions pay an average of $20 per hour, although wages vary by location and job. Eligible employees may also qualify for benefits, including health care coverage, according to Amazon.
Some seasonal positions could become permanent after the holidays, the company said.
