Armed Robber Strikes Mira Mesa Gas Station
The armed robbery was reported in the 8900 block of Mira Mesa Boulevard, San Diego police Officer John Buttle said.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A man held up a Mira Mesa gas station Sunday.
The armed robbery was reported at 2:47 p.m. in the 8900 block of Mira Mesa Boulevard, San Diego police Officer John Buttle said.
The suspect entered the gas station and looked around, then walked up to the clerk with a black handgun, Buttle said. He demanded money from the register, the clerk complied and was not injured.

The suspect placed the money in a bag and ran westbound from the gas station, the officer said.
He was described as Black, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 180 pounds, wearing black shorts, a hoodie and a hat with a red bandana over his face.
