Average Gas Prices Drops For 2nd Straight Day In San Diego County

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped four-tenths of a cent Monday to $3.152, one day after dropping three-tenths of a cent.

The average price is at its lowest amount since July 22 and is 1.5 cents less than one week ago, 3.6 cents lower than one month ago and 90.5 cents cheaper than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped 45 cents since the start of the year.

As of Sunday, stations had the green light to sell winter blend gasoline, which is cheaper to produce.
