Beautiful Windansea Beach In San Diego: Photo Of The Day

SAN DIEGO, CA — Patch reader and local photographer Bob Thompson captured this photo Friday at Windansea Beach in San Diego.

"With time, the brightness of the sun had lessened to the south, making the sky less washed out, in this picture," Thompson explained. "There are many rock shelves at this beach, creating recklessly beautiful collisions, between advancing waves and their solid counterparts."
