Brother Arrested After Fatal Point Loma Stabbing, Police Say

SAN DIEGO, CA — A man was arrested for fatally stabbing his brother in a grocery store parking lot, authorities said.

Officers responded shortly after midnight to multiple reports of a stabbing in the Barons Market parking lot in the 4000 block of West Point Loma Boulevard, according to the San Diego Police Department. Police and paramedics provided aid to the victim, who was found unconscious and taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.

The 19-year-old victim's name was withheld pending family notification.

Police identified the suspect, 29-year-old Charles Fluker, as the victim's brother. Officers arrested Fluker at about 4:40 a.m. at a home in the 2700 block of Ulric Street.

Fluker was expected to be booked into county jail on a homicide charge.
