Brush Fire Halted Along I-15 In Bonsall
The blaze was reported off southbound I-15 and Old Highway 395, just south of state Route 76 in Bonsall, officials said.

BONSALL, CA — Crews halted a brush fire Friday afternoon along Interstate 15 in northern San Diego County.
The blaze was reported at 2:23 p.m. off southbound I-15 and Old Highway 395, just south of state Route 76 in Bonsall, according to Cal Fire and the California Highway Patrol.
The fire, called the Bonsall Fire, burned in multiple spots, Cal Fire said. The flames scorched roughly 3-5 acres. No structures were damaged or destroyed.

CHP closed the southbound lanes in the area. Old Highway 395 was also shut down from Dulin Road to W. Lilac Road, according to the county Department of Public Works. Authorities advised motorists to use alternate routes and expect delays.
