4th of July UC Celebration
Friday, July 4, 2025 - 6 a.m.-7 p.m.
Standley Recreation Center, 3585 Governor Drive, San Diego, CA
From University City Celebration:
"Have you heard? It’s back! The run, the rood, the parade, the games, the vendor booths, the opportunity drawing gift baskets, the book barn, the pancake breakfast, the music and concerts … and so much more!
"UC Celebration Schedule 2025
8 AM – 1 Mile run and 5K run
8:30 AM – Pancake breakfast
9 AM – Opportunity Drawing ticket sales begin
10 AM – Staging for Bike/Pet parade at Standley MS parking lot
10:30 AM – Parade begins
11 AM – National Anthem and official opening of booths, book + puzzle barn
11:30 AM – First field game (sack race) and start of the Trolley along Governor Drive
12 PM – Hawaiian/Polynesian Review
1 PM – Phill Marcos Trio
2 PM – Field game (balloon toss)
3 PM – Music by The Resonators
4 PM – Last field game (Tug of War) and booths close
5 PM – Music by Strange Brew on the pavilion stage by Standley MS
