Two full shows of Improvised Mayhem May 15 & 16 with PseudoRandomNoise at the Old Town Temecula Community Theatre!
It’s Mid-May Mayhem all in good fun as Improv group PseudoRandomNoise stages two performances guaranteed to tickle the funny bone May 15th and 16th at the Old Town Community Theatre, 42051 Main Street in Temecula.
Friday, May 15th, 8:00 p.m., PRN joins with local theatre troupe Shakespeare in the Vines to perform a full 1940’s-style radio broadcast incorporating the help of audience members ready to take the (radio) stage! When things don’t go quite right behind the scenes, it will be impossible to control your laughter as the cast is forced to “improv” a full 90-minute show.
Saturday, May 16th at 2:00 p.m., “The IMPROVED PLAY” will test the limits of PRN’s creative performers as they string together two 45-minute full plays (with a 15-minute intermission for patrons to catch their collective breaths) based on suggestions from the audience.Only when the curtain rises will the troupe find out the play’s title, genre and other information that will guide their performance.
Tickets to both shows are available at the theatre box office or online at tickets.temeculatheatre.org.
Ongoing PRN performances include its second Friday 8pm monthly shows at The Merc, and second Saturday 7:30 p.m. performances at Idyllwild’s Rustic Theatre.
Those who miss the May 15th Radio Play won’t have long to wait until the next.On the last Sunday of every month at 4:00 p.m., PRN and SITV present a new 1940’s-style radio play at the Merc.
