The <a target="_blank" href="https://sdama.org/" rel="nofollow noopener">American Marketing Association (AMA) San Diego Chapter</a>&nbsp;has opened calls for entries for the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.sandieawards.sdama.org/" rel="nofollow noopener">2026 Sandie Awards (Sandies),</a>&nbsp;the prestigious annual marketing awards recognizing outstanding marketing produced throughout 2025 in San Diego County. Now in its fourth year, the 2026 Sandies spotlights “details that deliver”, a theme designed by Bobby Buchanan of Buchanan Brand + Design. The awards bring together leading marketing professionals, agencies, in-house teams, nonprofits, and students to celebrate creativity, strategy, and measurable impact. Award categories range from branding, design, digital marketing, integrated campaigns, social media, experiential, PR, video, and more.&nbsp;


The Sandies are also accepting submissions for Agency of the Year, Marketer of the Year, and Trailblazer of the Year, to recognize exceptional individual and organizational leadership in San Diego marketing.&nbsp;

“Where the Heart Belongs” is a one-woman performance by Vietnamese artist Linh Tran, presented at the San Diego International Fringe Festival. Blending poetry, music, dance, and hand-painted visual art, the show transforms the stage into a living gallery--where every movement, costume, and object is an original artwork.
At its heart, the performance is a love letter to her first child, and a tribute to the child she lost--an emotional journey through motherhood, love, loss, and healing.
Some poems are sung live with melodies created on stage, while dance unfolds through improvisation--making each performance unique.
