San Diego Squirrels Club, a social and support group for Adults with ADHD, will be hosting this "Meet &amp; Greet on Thursday, October 22 at 7 PM in the Old Town Saloon. It is intended to be a casual, low-stress gathering  - there will be introductions, a group game, random chats, and if you want, games of pool.   There is no charge and it is open to all adults with ADHD and our allies.   Use the Eventbrite link attached to this post to RSVP and get a free ticket.   This should be fun.   Please support your tribe and join us on Thursday.

On Monday, October 19 at 6pm, the modern Turkish restaurant will host a special döner night featuring freshly carved Turkish döner, handcrafted cocktails and live music. On Wednesday, October 21, from 4 to 7 pm, Frontwave Arena’s suites will be transformed into a unique Halloween-themed experience open to the public. Along with plenty of treats, guests will enjoy Halloween activities, games, photo opportunities, special appearances, and fun surprises throughout the arena. Staff, players, community partners, sponsors, and volunteers will come together to help create an unforgettable experience for local families. Treats in the Suites is more than trick-or-treating, it’s an opportunity for Frontwave Arena and our community partners to come together, give back, and create positive memories for local kids and families. Presented by UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies in partnership with the National Conflict Resolution Center (NCRC) and the Burnham Center for Community Advancement (BCCA), ‘Civic Trust in Action: Cities, Research, and the Next Generation’ features Mayor Todd Gloria of San Diego and Mayor David Holt of Oklahoma City in conversation about civility, trust, and engagement during times of division and contentious discourse. Moderated by NCRC President Steve Dinkin and presented in tandem with research insights from UC San Diego political scientist Thad Kousser, the evening invites members of the community to participate in a one-of-a-kind forum with two nationally recognized civic leaders offering unparalleled insight into how community leaders can build civic trust and improve engagement heading into the pivotal Nov. 3 midterm elections. The forum begins at 6 p.m. at the Guggenheim Theatre at UC San Diego Park &amp; Market. The event is free to attend, however, registration is required. Theatrical superstition says it keeps the spirits away. At The Nocturne, it draws them closer.For a limited time each October, The Nocturne Theatre descends and conjures an otherworldly masquerade where superstition walks, legends breathe, and Spirits dance. There are no assigned seats and no fourth wall. Instead, guests move freely through the space, following Resident Spirits, discovering hidden encounters, gathering around the stage, and experiencing contemporary ballet and theatrical performances unfolding throughout the night.Created by The Rosin Box Project, San Diego’s premier contemporary ballet company, Ghost Light Masquerade blends contemporary dance, theatrical storytelling, music, masks, and immersive environments into a Halloween experience unlike anything else in San Diego.Costumes and masks are encouraged, and masks are available upon arrival. Campland on the Bay

Campland on the Bay will bring Halloween fun to the shores of Mission Bay during two weekends of its camper-favorite Howl-oween celebration.&nbsp; The Halloween festivities run Friday, October 23 through Sunday, October 25, and Friday, October 30 through Sunday, November 1, 2026.

Campers' families are invited to dress up, decorate their campsites and RVs, and enjoy a spirited lineup of Halloween activities. Festivities will include trick-or-treating, costume and pet costume contests, a pumpkin carving contest, an RV decorating contest, costume dodgeball, bean bag tournaments, and a spooky DJ dance party.&nbsp;

Halloween gives families the opportunity to turn a traditional Halloween celebration into a waterfront getaway. In addition to the scheduled festivities, campers can enjoy RV or tent camping, recreational amenities, planned activities and time together along Mission Bay.
