SAN DIEGO, CA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

But before we jump into Southern California's top stories, residents should expect warm weather to continue this week, according to the National Weather Service.

"Still very warm conditions are in place with a subtle cooldown through the middle of the week," NWS San Diego forecasters wrote Sunday. "Monsoonal moisture is expected to increase by the middle and end of the week, but chances for rainfall remain small. Temperatures will continue to be near to slightly above average as well."

In other news, authorities searched an actress's home; a man was arrested for allegedly trespassing at another actress's home; a man was arrested after a standoff; and a woman was arrested in a fatal assault. Also, severe erosion closed a popular beach.

Plus, nearly 12 million bottles of eye drops sold nationwide, including in California, have been recalled because the products may be unsterile, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
