The Chargers will hold their annual FanFest at Qualcomm Stadium Aug. 6, when the team will practice from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The Chargers will also conduct a joint practice with the Arizona Cardinals from 6-8 p.m. at Qualcomm Stadium that will be open to the public.

Saturday also marks the start of single-game ticket sales, which will begins at 8 a.m. at the Chargers ticket office at Gate C at Qualcomm Stadium. The ticket office will be open from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.

Fans purchasing single-game tickets at Gate C from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday will receive a coupon good for a 30 percent discount at the Chargers Team Store at Gate H at Qualcomm Stadium.

Online single-game ticket sales will begin at 1 p.m. at Chargers.com/tickets.

The Chargers have been seeking a new stadium for about 15 years to replace Qualcomm Stadium, their home since 1967.

A measure will be on the November ballot that would raise the hotel tax to provide revenue to fund construction of a stadium and convention center annex in the East Village, near Petco Park. The team and NFL would also make contributions toward building the stadium.

Rejection of the initiative could prompt the Chargers to move to Los Angeles. They have a one-year option to join the Los Angeles Rams as the second team in a future stadium in Inglewood.

If San Diego voters approve the initiative, the Chargers' Los Angeles option would be extended an additional year under terms of the proposal approved by NFL owners in January that allowed the Rams to return to Southern California after playing in St. Louis from 1995-2015.
