Chula Vista HarborFest Returns With Free Waterfront Fun

The event offers waterfront activities, live music and family entertainment along the shoreline.

CHULA VISTA, CA — Chula Vista HarborFest will return Saturday, Aug. 22, with free waterfront activities, live music and family entertainment along the shoreline.

The event, presented by the city of Chula Vista and the Port of San Diego, will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Highlights include Mexican wrestling matches at Lucha Libre, a classic car expo and water activities including seal tours, paddleboarding and kayaking. Attendees also can take part in maritime-themed yoga and see live mermaid performers.

HarborFest is free, although organizers also are offering a paid "Tides and Tastes" pass with additional experiences.
