Coronavirus: School Districts To Close In San Diego County

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A number of school districts in San Diego County have announced closures amid growing concerns of the new coronavirus. Many schools will be closed beginning Monday, March 16, according to the San Diego County Office of Education.

"We understand this is a time of uncertainty and concern," an announcement from the County Office of Education said.

"San Diego County schools are committed to working through this together, with support from public health, to keep students, families, and staff safe. The San Diego County Office of Education will remain in close contact with school districts and local public health officials throughout the duration of this closure and will provide updates as appropriate."

Below is a list of the confirmed closures, according to the County Office of Education. Some of the closure dates include the district's scheduled spring break.
