Dead Dog, Dozens Of Other Neglected Animals Removed From Rancho Santa Fe Property
Several animals showed signs of medical problems, including being underweight and suffering from skin and dental conditions, officials said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A dog was found dead and dozens of animals were rescued from a Rancho Santa Fe property last week after San Diego County Animal Services received a report of possible neglect involving horses, county officials said.
Animal control officers responded Wednesday to the 15000 block of El Camino Real and determined a search warrant was needed to safely assist the animals. After obtaining the warrant, officers remained at the property late into the night removing the animals and transporting them to county shelters.
Several animals showed signs of medical problems, including being underweight and suffering from skin and dental conditions, according to the county. One dog was found dead inside the home.
