Patch: How did you get started skating, and what led you to perform with Disney On Ice?

Jaysa Bozzuto: I started skating when I was 7 in Sun Valley, Idaho. My ballet teacher was also a figure skater and asked if I could skate in the kids' number of the show she was in. My parents agreed and I immediately fell in love with being on the ice.

But it was really my coach, Natalia Zaitseva, who changed everything for me. She didn't just teach me to skate; she set my soul on fire for the sport. I wanted to be her. We'd stay up for hours, glued to the TV, watching her old Disney On Ice routines, and right then, I knew — that's my future. After years of training and competing, auditioning and skating for Disney On Ice felt like a full-circle moment.

Patch: What's your role in Road Trip Adventures?

Bozzuto: In Road Trip Adventures, I'm part of the ensemble cast and get to perform a variety of roles. In my regular track, I perform as Ariel in our "Girl Power" number, where all the princesses come together, which is such a fun and empowering number! Along with many other numbers. I love to help bring the stories to life!

Patch: What makes this show different from other Disney On Ice productions?

Bozzuto: This show is really unique because it takes the audience on a journey through different Disney worlds as if we're all on one big road trip together. The transitions are fast-paced, and the storytelling is very interactive. There's also a great mix of newer stories and classic favorites, so it appeals to all ages.

Patch: What do you enjoy most about touring with Disney On Ice, or specifically, this show?

Bozzuto: The best part is connecting with audiences in different cities. Every crowd brings a different energy, and it keeps the experience exciting for us as performers. With this show especially, the sense of adventure and movement makes it really fun to perform night after night.

Patch: Do you have a favorite fan interaction or memorable audience moment?

Bozzuto: One of my favorite moments is always seeing kids dressed up as their favorite characters in the front rows. After shows, sometimes we get to meet fans, and hearing how much the performance meant to them, especially from young skaters who feel inspired, is incredibly rewarding.

Patch: You'll be performing at Pechanga Arena San Diego. What are you most looking forward to about your stop in San Diego? Have you been there before?

Bozzuto: I'm especially excited to perform at Pechanga Arena San Diego because it will be my first time performing in San Diego. I've heard such amazing things about the city and the audiences there, so I'm really looking forward to experiencing that energy for the first time and exploring a new place between shows.

Patch: Is there anything else you would like to add or want San Diego fans to know?

Bozzuto: We can't wait to bring this adventure to San Diego! Whether you're a lifelong Disney fan or seeing your first show, there's something magical for everyone. Come ready to sing along, cheer, and be part of the journey we feed off your energy!
