Driver Seriously Hurt In Jamacha-Area Car Crash
Paramedics took her to a hospital for treatment of brain bleeds, a cervical spinal fracture and a broken orbital bone, police said.
SAN DIEGO, CA — An octogenarian was seriously injured Tuesday when the car she was driving collided with an SUV in a Jamacha-area intersection, authorities reported.
The 89-year-old woman was making a left turn from westbound Imperial Avenue to Viewcrest Drive when her Volkswagen Jetta was struck by an oncoming Ford Excursion shortly after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to the San Diego Police Department.
