Dump Truck Hits, Badly Injures Bicyclist In Otay Mesa
Paramedics took the man to a trauma center for treatment of serious injuries, officials said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A dump truck struck a bicyclist on an Otay Mesa roadway Tuesday, leaving him badly injured and trapped beneath the vehicle for about an hour, authorities reported.
The collision occurred at about 4:30 a.m. on Britannia Boulevard, near state Route 905, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
It took emergency crews about 55 minutes to free the victim, SDFRD Battalion Chief Chris Babler told OnSceneTV.
