Earthquake Near Julian Shakes San Diego County

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck Friday afternoon near Julian in San Diego County.
The quake was recorded at 3:45 p.m. about 14 miles east of Julian, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake had a depth of more than 7 miles.
The quake was felt across the county, including in Borrego Springs, Campo, Carlsbad, Julian, Lakeside, Pine Valley, Ramona, San Marcos and Spring Valley, according to the USGS.
