SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A magnitude 3.6 earthquake struck Sunday morning near Warner Springs, an unincorporated community in northern San Diego County.

The quake was recorded at 7:17 a.m. about four miles southwest of Warner Springs, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Residents across San Diego and Riverside counties reported feeling the quake, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, including in Alpine, El Cajon, Escondido, Julian, La Mesa, Lakeside, Murrieta, Palm Springs, Poway, Ramona, San Diego, Valley Center and Vista.
