Earthquake Shakes Off Coast Of San Diego

The small quake was reported Friday afternoon. Did you feel it?

SAN DIEGO, CA — A small earthquake was reported off the coast of San Diego Friday afternoon.

The 3.3 magnitude earthquake was reported at 1:09 p.m. about 11 miles west-southwest of La Jolla, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake was more than 9 miles deep.

Residents reported feeling the quake across the county, including in Carlsbad, El Cajon, Escondido, La Mesa, Poway, Ramona, San Diego and Santee, according to the USGS's "Did You Feel It?" map.

There were no reports of damage or injuries due to the quake.
