SAN DIEGO, CA — A magnitude 3.4 earthquake struck early Thursday near Borrego Springs in San Diego County.
The quake was reported at 12:32 a.m. about 4 miles north-northeast of Borrego Springs, a census-designated place in the county, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake had a depth of nearly 7 miles.
The quake was felt in Borrego Spring, El Cajon, Fallbrook, Ramona, Ranchita, San Diego and Spring Valley, according to the USGS.
