Ebony Alert Canceled: At-Risk Girl Last Seen In Riverside County Found
The Ebony Alert that was in effect in San Diego and four other counties was canceled after a missing girl was found.
SAN DIEGO, CA — The Ebony Alert that was in effect in San Diego and four other counties has been canceled after a missing girl was found.
Kushani Boyd, 14, had last been seen at about 10 p.m. Monday near Sicily Lane and San Remo Drive in the unincorporated community of French Valley in southwestern Riverside County, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert Tuesday on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.
The circumstances surrounding her disappearance were unclear, but she was located, according to the CHP. The Ebony Alert had also been in effect in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

Ebony Alerts are issued to help find missing Black children, teenagers and young adults ages 12 to 25 who have disappeared under unexplained or suspicious circumstances, or who are at risk, developmentally disabled, cognitively impaired or abducted.
