Gwen Bates, director of Fashion Week San Diego, said her team “is thrilled” to return to live shows in downtown San Diego.

“The in-person aspect of the Spring Showcase allows our community members and fashion lovers to fully experience the raw talent of these exceptional designers,” Bates said.

Billy the Kid will perform at the showcase, while Jodi Kodesh, an Emmy Award-winning meteorologist, and Jonathan Harris, a longtime broadcast commentator and columnist, will host.

Local Fashion Week organizers have provided a platform for 14 years to offer exposure to up-and-coming designers, brands and models. Fall Fashion Week events are set to begin Oct. 8.
