Explosive Device Detonates On 2nd Floor In Kearny Mesa Hotel
An explosive device went off in Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Kearny Mesa.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Investigators are searching for suspects after an explosive device went off in a hotel in Kearny Mesa.
Officers responded to reports of a pipe bomb that was detonated on the second floor of the Four Points Sheraton Hotel, 8110 Aero Drive, near Kearny Villa Road, at 10:18 a.m. Thursday, a San Diego Police Department watch commander confirmed.
Police reported no injuries, though the hotel property sustained minor damage. There are no witnesses to the crime, however, police released images of two men who they say are persons of interest.

Detectives from SDPD, the FBI and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating the case.
