Father Of Retired Tennis Pro Mark Philippoussis Arrested On Molestation Charges In San Diego
BREAKING: Nikolaos Philippoussis, 68, was arrested at his Mira Mesa home for allegedly molesting two minors, officials said.

SAN DIEGO, CA – The father of retired tennis professional Mark Philippoussis was arrested for allegedly molesting two minors who had taken tennis lessons from him, authorities announced Tuesday.
Nikolaos Philippoussis, 68, was arrested around 9 a.m. Tuesday at his Mira Mesa home on suspicion of multiple counts of lewd and lascivious acts with two minor victims, sheriff’s Lt. Greg Rylaarsdam said. No other details about the investigation, including the victims' ages and where the alleged crimes occurred, have been released.
Philippoussis is the father of Davis Cup champion and one-time Wimbledon finalist Mark Philippoussis.

He was booked into San Diego Central Jail on suspicion of committing lewd and lascivious acts on a person under age 14 and having sex with a child age 10 or younger. He was being held on $2.5 million bail pending arraignment, scheduled for Wednesday.
