Felon Arrested In East County With Meth, Ammunition, Suspected Stolen Property

Bradley White, 64, has prior felony convictions and is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition, sheriff's officials said.

SPRING VALLEY, CA — A man suspected of dealing drugs and violating a restraining order was arrested last week in San Diego's East County, authorities said Tuesday.

Deputies contacted Bradley White, 64, sitting in a vehicle Friday morning in the 900 block of Gillespie Drive in Spring Valley, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office. He had an active arrest warrant for violating a restraining order, sheriff's officials said.

Deputies detained and searched White and his vehicle. During the search, deputies found 138.83 grams of methamphetamine stored in multiple bags, a digital scale, hundreds of empty baggies, $873 in cash, $7,035 in money orders, a replica firearm, and two rounds of ammunition, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies also recovered several items believed to be stolen, including a large bag of collector coins, a bulk quantity of collector comic books, two boxes filled with designer watches, and several boxes of silverware and jewelry.

White has prior felony convictions and is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition, officials said. He was arrested for the pre-existing warrant and new charges for possession of a controlled substance for sale and being a felon in possession of ammunition. He was booked into San Diego Central Jail and was being held on $105,000 bail.
