Fire Damages Abandoned Building In Barrio Logan

SAN DIEGO — Investigators worked Saturday morning to determine the cause of fire inside an abandoned commercial building in Barrio Logan.

The fire was first reported at 8:05 p.m. Friday in the 3500 block of Dalbergia Street, near Thor Street, according to the San Diego Fire Department.

A total of 80 firefighters from SDFD were assisted by crews from Chula Vista, National City and Coronado, the department said.

It was unclear what time the fire was extinguished.

The warehouse was believed to be abandoned, the San Diego Union Tribune reported.

No injuries were reported.

Arson investigators were called to the scene to try to determine the cause of the fire.
