Fire Damages Chollas Creek-Area Apartment Complex

The San Diego Metro Arson Strike Team was called in to investigate, SDFRD spokeswoman Maria Gamez said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — It took firefighters about 10 minutes Wednesday to gain control of a Chollas Creek-area apartment fire, authorities said.

The non-injury blaze in the 3600 block of Altadena Avenue erupted for unknown reasons about 10:45 a.m., according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

The San Diego Metro Arson Strike Team was called in to investigate, SDFRD spokeswoman Maria Gamez said.
