Fire Weather Returns To RivCo; Red Flag Warning In Effect
Red flag warnings for fire danger are in effect for Southern California on Sunday, as dry, warm, windy weather hits the region.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Red flag warnings for high fire danger are in effect for much of Southern California on Sunday, as hot, dry windy weather hits the region.
Santa Ana winds gusting up to 50 miles per hour will sweep the area until Monday, with temperatures reaching as high as 95 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
The red flag warning will remain in effect until 6 p.m. Sunday.

The warnings are in effect for a wide swath of Southern California, including Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura and San Diego counties.
Wildfires that swept California last month caused widespread destruction, thousands of evacuations and forced public safety power shutoffs for numerous Northern California residents.
